We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the KASES Inaugural Competition, held this past Saturday (October 5, 2024) at TechMezz, Medical Library. This lively event brought together MBBS Clinical Years students who demonstrated exceptional clinical reasoning skills in diagnosing virtual patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions.
The competition featured three cases in the heats and three cases in the finals, testing the participants’ ability to navigate complex medical scenarios with precision and efficiency. The cases are curated by our clinical academics and participants can interact with the virtual patient, assess physical examination findings, and review investigation findings. Eight teams advanced to the finals, where they showcased their clinical acumen and teamwork under pressure.
In the end, it was Team 14, comprising Choy Yan Kiu, Ho Ka Chun Clement, and So Chun Kiu Ryan (All MBBS Final Year students), that emerged as the champions of the competition. The Team demonstrated outstanding collaboration and expertise, earning them well-deserved recognition for their achievements.
The event not only highlighted the exceptional talent among our MBBS students but also underscored the importance of effective communication in the practice of medicine.
