Electronic Health Record (EHR) has been extensively used in clinical big data research as it allows us to derive numerous informative clinical insights. However, the efficacy of EHR is occasionally limited by its “low resolution” data, which render the information inaccurate or incomplete.
This video demonstrates how large language models (LLM) can be used to convert unstructured data, such as clinical notes and reports to structured format, thereby improving the “resolution” of EHR studies. It also touches upon the challenges to be tackled to further improve the overall user experience.
