We are excited to unveil the second episode of Learn Together @HKUMed, “How to Teach and Learn Effectively from a Teacher’s Perspective”!
In this episode, our host, Professor Linda Chan, Clinical Assistant Professor from the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education (BIMHSE) and the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care (FMPC), welcomes two distinguished guests, Professor Julie Chen who is also from BIMHSE and FMPC, and Professor Brian Chung from the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Both are recipients of the HKU Outstanding Teaching Award and are deeply passionate about medical education. They will provide insights from a teacher’s perspective on supporting student learning and offer practical tips for students on how to learn effectively.
You may also revisit our first episode of Learn Together @HKUMed for effective learning tips from our MBBS students. Teachers are also encouraged to explore the activities and resources provided by BIMHSE.
We hope you enjoy watching! We have more episodes coming up in the series, featuring students from different undergraduate programmes sharing their unique learning experiences with you. So stay tuned!
